If you're self-employed, the last thing you want to do is waste money. Especially, on your marketing. Because not only do you waste your money and time. You waste your "opportunity" to get the customers you need to move your business forward. Largely, because now they have somebody.
You're probably thinking, "what is bad marketing"? And how does it waste my money?
Marketing is supposed to bring you customers who...
See you as the solution to their problem.
Believe that you are a trustworthy option.
Are ready to start sooner than later.
If it doesn't do this. It's bad marketing!
And not bad meaning good!
Customers are looking for and want to know....
Exactly what you do.
Will it work for them.
What you'll do for them.
How long it will take.
How much effort it takes
Example: Fresh hot pizza ready in 30 minutes or less delivered right to your door. (this is what good marketing looks like)
Make sure your marketing easy to understand before you
spend any more money on flyers, your website, social media or any other kind of promotional material.
Because if you don't.... you'll be wasting your money, and you won't be able to get the customers or sales you need to get your money back.
Seriously, if you cover these five things in your marketing...you'll start getting more customers "to buy" immediately!
Oh, and when you're answering question number 3. Think like this. If I do what I do...then they will be able to do what?
Example: I help you get more sales, then you can afford to hire the quality people you need to run your business, so you don't have too!
(This is not bad marketing...this is great marketing)
