Content Marketing that doesn't get ignored and gets you sales. By a Content Marketing Consultant.

Do you feel like your content is getting ignored? Yes? Great news! I can help you fix that in minutes. It’s probably because you’re not having the right conversation with your ideal buyer.

If your goal is to get, keep, and convert customers to sales you must be having the right kind conversation with the right customer at the right time/stage.

There are 5 conversations at 5 different stages of your ideal client's journey. If you just get a little bit better at matching your message to the right stage of your clients journey, you can see a huge increase in your overall sales.

Here are the 5 stages and conversations you can have…

  1. You can talk to "the curious". The conversation goes like this…do you want to know how you can start a catering business in 4 weeks? Starting here is a 50/50 proposition because there are a lot of people who are curious/dreaming but their fear keeps them from starting. All your content for the curious should be free. Why? So your ideal customer gets to know, trust and like you without the risk of losing money.

  1. You can talk to "the starter". The conversation with a starter goes something like this…have you recently started a business, but you still need…? The starter is a great place to begin your content journey because they have actually taken action and have something to avoid losing. The next step for every “starter” is to maintain, recoup and eventually grow/improve. Starting is not the end, it is the beginning!

  1. You can talk to "the failure". This conversation goes like this…have you tried what feels like all the diets and none of them worked? Here’s one that will finally get you the weight loss you’ve been searching for. The message is…you can get them what they want.

  1. You can talk to "the grower". That conversation goes like this…are you looking for an easier faster way to get more customers, sales, profits. The key word here is “more”.

  1. You can talk to "the overwhelmed". That conversation goes like this…do you feel like your business is running you, instead of you running it? Here's an easy way to lower your workload without sacrificing your profits. The key word here is “easier”.

Content Marketers #1 problem: They try to talk to the whole market in every video or ad.
Great Content Marketing Consultants build “customized customer driven content” that allows you to attract your ideal customer at the stage that gives you the best chance of succeeding and keeping your customer long term.

Great Content Marketing Consultants don’t just throw/put content out. They have a purpose for every video, email, and post. They should be able to tell you...” the person reading or watching this is thinking and needs this”.

I know picking out one segment and giving it major attention seems like it will lessen your chances of making profits. It won't! It will actually do the opposite.

There’s a ton of profits and market share attached to creating "sequenced content" that takes your ideal customers from curious to successful. Plus the referrals and repeat business is significantly higher when you are able to keep your ideal buyers past the 1st sale.

It looks like this…

Your ideal customer is curious about your industry. You create "customized customer driven content" that answers all their questions.

Next you help them get started with more "customized customer driven content" except this time you give them “STEP ONE”.

Why?

Because clarity builds trust and confidence in you.
Plus, if they get confused, they won't start.
And "Step One" puts them in position to need step 2 from you. Make sense?

Then you work with them through all the steps they need to get the results they want. Most successful businesses became successful because of repeat business.

Why? Because it’s harder to get customers than it is to keep them.

The purpose of this blog is to help you get their attention. This is step one of “The Seven Gets System.”

Here's how to get started. You can create "free content" to hook/attract and or educate your ideal customers and then pitch your products on the back of each video, email, or newsletter.

Start with the soft openings I gave you at the beginning of the blog and then finish your content with "oh and by the way".

You clearly and confidently say, "oh and by the way, if you're interested in hiring us to help you or even do it for you just…."

Doing it this way gives you a much better chance of making a sale and seeing a profit.
